Idh-Yaa, The Mighty Mother, Is the mother of all of Cthulhu’s children. Said to live and have given birth on the planet Xoth. Her mighty children are specifically the sons of Cthulhu: Ghatanothoa, Ythogtha, and Zoth–Ommog; and a daughter of Cthulhu: Cthylla

Idh-Yaa is a great old one like Cthulhu and is often described as a colossal, pale, worm-like monstrosity which dwells beneath the surface of a planet in the green binary Xoth star system.

Here’s where things get weird once again: Idh-Yaa is not only Great Cthulhu’s mate but also his half-sister. (Really parallels Greek mythology there)

Idh-Yaa is apparently the only of her family that stayed on their homeplanet. Cthulhu and all his children went to Yoggoth and then earth.
